ALLERLEI

Well, here’s “Allerlei.” It’s a German word. It means “all sorts of” as in all sorts of things, all sorts of thoughts. Why did I do this? Because I love to write about, well, all sorts of things. Most of my writing is for business, and that has its own tech website. Allerlei is just a project, a compilation of whatever pops into my mind. Which at any given day can be all sorts of things.

I also did Allerlei because I wanted to figure out how easy it is to do a website in WordPress. Right upfront, I am not a great fan of WordPress. Or at least I haven’t been up to now, and that’s based on a number of projects I tried to use WordPress for. We didn’t get along, WordPress and I. But hey, perhaps that was my fault.

After spending a bunch of hours trying to figure out the WordPress interface, well, while one gets used to everything in life, it’s not for the faint of heart, and it could be a lot simpler and more logical and more obvious. Just my opinion.
